Greatly Anticipated Follow Up To Gangnam Style: Gentleman.

Psy has produced yet another perfect dance tune that is so ridiculously bad it's brilliant!
Without seeing the choreographed dance routine to Gentleman (I can't find it on YouTube anywhere!) I can still safely say that Gentleman will be another hit for South Korean Psy.

It is pretty much the same set up as Gangnam Style, but can you really rip-off your own work? It's understandable why Psy has chosen to keep it similar, why fix something that ain't broke? Gangnam Style was a universal sensation, and though Gentleman probably won't be as popular, it still will be a success. I particularly love the long silences before the chorus, as in Gangnam Style; they always catch you out when you're singing along so you always end up looking a fool!
One difference is the much more obvious dance beat at the start of Gentleman, it actually reminds me of the forgotten age of Noughties dance (think Fedde Le Grand etc).
The lyrics are quite controversial though, with some speculating whether Psy is singing about gonorrhea! I'm not sure about that, but I definitely do hear clever censoring of "motherfucker" to "motherfather" as well as the conspicuous line "gonna make you wet". Oo-er Psy! As with Gangnam Style, the majority of the song is sung in Korean so we haven't got a clue what is being said and just look like idiots trying to sing along, but the chorus is in English, ensuring it will be stuck in your head for days!
